In which we begin...

Several years ago I had a blog. It died. On it I talked about my children and their daily accomplishments and posted hundreds of pictures so that my in-laws could keep up with their growing and changing grandchild from 2200 miles away. Over time I grew board with blogging, had a second child, and life became busier. I didn't have time for new fresh ideas, my mind was constantly focused on family and work and then a third child. As you can imagine, things fell by the wayside, one of those being my blog.

I'm excited, this is a new beginning! Recently, I left my job of 7 years. God is good and He provides in ways I cannot fathom! I hope to tell you more about that in the coming weeks. but, I digress, I now find myself a full time stay-at-home mom to three little girls. My biggest realization in the past 4 days of being home -- there are no grown-ups here. Not a single one AND I don't know for sure when I'll see another grown-up besides my dear husband again. It's a strange thing to realize. I guess it's time for me to make some of those play date plans I used to watch the other moms make, but never had time for before!

With this new stage of life, I will now have more time to think about and learn about things that interest me, more time to try things I've considered before but never had the time to tackle. I may even create a few of the millions of things I've pinned over the past year! I've also been given the opportunity to find creative ways to cut our family's budget and to manage our finances in a way that brings glory to God and that make us good stewards of the blessings He has graciously given to us. So, I begin, and I hope to step forth on this journey and to write about things that are encouraging, things that are helpful, things that inspire myself and others and some things that entertain. Off we go...
